I took the “Trail with Expedition Character – Crossing Kyrgyzstan” in August, and I was absolutely amazed by how incredibly beautiful this journey was. From beginning to end, it was a truly special experience. The landscapes of Kyrgyzstan are simply breathtaking. Riding through such vast and untouched scenery, surrounded by mountains, valleys and open landscapes, was both peaceful and exhilarating. The rides themselves were incredibly enjoyable and the horses were wonderful, and the combination of comfort, adventure and beautiful surroundings made every day something to look forward to. The entire journey was exceptionally well organized and thoughtfully planned. Despite the expedition character and sense of adventure, everything felt professional, reliable and well coordinated. I was completely satisfied with the organization and the overall experience. I would especially like to highlight our wonderful Kyrgyz companions: Asel, Zina, Nabira, Anarbek, Oroz and Kairat. Their commitment, warmth, humor and genuine care made this journey truly special. They not only supported us throughout the trip, but also created an incredibly welcoming and joyful atmosphere. Their hospitality and kindness made us feel comfortable, cared for and very much part of the experience. It is the combination of the breathtaking nature, the wonderful horses, the excellent organization and, above all, the people who accompanied us that made this journey so memorable. A heartfelt recommendation to anyone who wants to experience Kyrgyzstan in a truly authentic and adventurous way and return home with a very full heart. Unsere zweiwöchige Tor mit Ala-too rando war unbeschreiblich schön. Die atemberaubende Landschaft von Kyrgyzstan durften wir auf dem Rücken von wahnsinnig fitten und absolut trittsicheren Pferden genießen, das Essen und der Service mit dem Begleitfahrzeug waren ausgezeichnet und wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit, in jeder Situation 100% wohl und sicher gefühlt. Die Guides kennen das Gelände und ihre Tiere in- und auswendig, wissen was sie tun, die Verständigung klappt durch die wundervolle Übersetzerin Asel super gut und die Route, die geritten wird, ist an Schönheit nicht zu übertreffen und sinnvoll überlegt. Man schläft an traumhaft ausgewählten Campingspots und bei super herzlichen Gastfamilien. Generell fühlte ich mich die ganze Tour über sehr Willkommen und wir wurden rundum perfekt versorgt! Hier machen seit Jahren Profis ihre Arbeit und ich kann Ala-too rando nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der Kyrgyzstan zu Pferd bereisen möchte!!! Fantastic Trip! The team is extremely kind and accommodating. It is a family business and you will also quickly feel at home! I have food intolerances and the were super helpful with adjusting with very limited options that they have, so that I never went hungry. The team also does not only look after the guests but also the horses very well. This trip was everything it promised to be and more! The team was amazing, incredibly welcoming, and made us feel like we were traveling through Kyrgyzstan with family. <3 The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, the food was delicious, and the rides were exceptional. We got to experience places away from the usual tourist routes, which made the journey even more special. The whole trip was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, unwind, and experience a different country and culture for a few weeks.
